Huda Takriti (b. 1990) is a trans-disciplinary artist currently based in Vienna. In her artistic practice, she explores the relationship between history, politics, memories, and counter-memories. In her works, she attempts to generate questions regarding historical and political narratives. She uses different media to work with these issues, such as video, film, installation, painting, and performative situations.

Her work has recently been shown at (selected) mumok - museum moderner kunst stiftung ludwig wien (Austria), Kunsthalle Wien (Austria) , Afro Asiatisches Institut Graz, [.Box] Video Art Project Space (Italy), Stiftung Mercator (Germany), Kunstraum Lakeside (Austria), Centre d’art Sa Quartera (Spain), and Addaya Centre for Contemporary Arts (Spain), among others. 

She received the Vordemberge Gildewart award 2022, Kunsthalle Prize 2020, Ettijahat Production Award, Laboratory of Arts, 7th Edition 2020, Styrian-Artist-in-Residence fellowship 2016, and BMUKK and Kulturkontakt Austria residency fellowship 2014.
